I started working in radio after many years in print media and television. “Entredós,” an interview program, was my first show. It aired on Saturday afternoons on Cadena Cope and was immediately very well received by listeners. Then, in 2010, I began directing and presenting “La Mañana Fin de Semana” on the same station. For five years, I was in charge of “La Tarde” with Pilar Cisneros. And now I’m back on Saturday and Sunday mornings. I produce a “signature news program” in which I combine very personal monologues, segments dedicated to breaking news, analysis, and interviews.
From the beginning, radio captivated me with its freshness, its ability to bring you closer to the audience, and the rapport it creates. I really like improvisation, not having to read a script, throwing everything I have prepared in the trash, and filling the broadcast hours with breaking news. I especially enjoy doing radio on the street, when my voice comes from where the events are happening.
